Dream of being a derby girl?  Feel a need for short track speed?  Does your little princess want to glide and twirl? Oaks Park offers skate classes for every age, ability and interest.
 
Learn to Skate Beginner Class
Saturdays 12:15-1:00 pm
Skating fundamentals in a fun, all ages class.  Learn safety, forward skating, backward skating, stopping, and much more.  Taught by USA Roller Sports certified instructors.
$6.00 per skater, includes skate rental and admission to the 1-5 pm skating session.
 
Speed Skating Basics
Saturdays 5:00-6:00 pm
Learn skating basics, speed skating rules, and get a great work out.  All abilities welcome.  Taught by Team Oaks national championship team members.  
$6.00 per skater, includes skate rental and admission to the 7-10:30 skating session.
 
Intro to Roller Derby
Saturdays 6:00-7:00 pm
Learn technique, the rules of the game, and get in great shape too.  All abilities welcome.  Taught by the Rose City Rollers.  
$8.00 per skater, includes skate rental and admission to the 7-10:30 skating session.
 
Beginning Roller Dance
Thursdays 7:00-8:00 pm
Learn skating basics, and the classic roller skate dances- foxtrots, waltzes, tangos and more!  Great for coordination, fitness, and fun!  Taught by 13 time national roller dance champions Bob and Sharon Behrendt.  
$6.00 per skater, includes skate rental and admission to the 8-10:30 skating session featuring LIVE pipe organ music
