New Policy Effective August 19, 2022
For over 100 years Oaks Park has been Portland's favorite place for wholesome, family fun. Our commitment to continuing that tradition necessitates the creation of the following Chaperone Policy in our skating rink that will be in effect starting Friday, August 19, 2022, until further notice.
On Fridays and Saturdays during the 7-10:30 PM Open Skate Session all guests ages 17 and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult 21 or older. The chaperoning adult must remain in the Roller Rink at all times and is responsible for monitoring the behavior of the minor attendees. One chaperone is required per 6 minors. If the chaperoning adult is skating, they must purchase an admission ticket; non-skating chaperones are welcome at no charge. Chaperone IDs will be checked at the door. Anyone under the age of 18 who is without a chaperone will be required to leave Oaks Park premises.
Oaks Park has a zero-tolerance stance in regards to violence, threats of violence, and other criminal and/or disruptive behaviors including, but not limited to:
This policy may be expanded to include other skating sessions at the discretion of Oaks Park Management and may be amended or revised at any time.
