But after years of hiding out in dark corners, he’s finally decided to join the fun by taking a job as a carnival game barker, enthusiastically inviting visitors to test their aim against him!
Legendary local artist Mike Bennett has lent his talents to this project, giving new life to a favorite Oaks Park attraction!
The newly refreshed Wrath of Willamette Willy game will officially debut on May 30, as part of our 121st birthday celebration, and Oaks Park guests will be able to play for free all day during the unveiling celebration.
With Bennett’s signature mix of playful weirdness, local folklore, and colorful storytelling, the revamped game feels perfectly at home at Oaks Park — a little funky, a little hilarious, and unmistakably Portland!
