Transportation & Parking

Complimentary bus parking is available when arranged in advance. Parking does fill on holidays, weekend days, and special event days; carpooling is strongly recommended. The parking lot is private property and is only available to patrons of Oaks Park.  Vehicles not parked in designated parking stalls and those that block the flow of traffic will be towed at the owner’s expense; contact A&B Towing if your vehicle has been towed.  The closest bus stop is approximately 1 mile away; visit the Tri-Met trip planner to plan your route. An ample supply of bike racks are available near the Ferris Wheel.

Seating Tables & Picnic Areas

Tables on the midway and in the Roller Rink cafe are for guests with purchases from Oaks Park's concessions only.  Oaks Park offers first-come, first-served picnic tables at the far south end of the park and along the west boundary overlooking the river. First-come, first-served tables are only available from 9 AM to close on days the amusement park is operational. All other picnic areas/event spaces require a reservation and a fee. A limited number of reserved picnic areas may be available to rent on a walk-in basis; inquire at Guest Services. Charcoal must be disposed of in an appropriate receptacle; inquire at Guest Services for dump location.

Food & Beverages

A variety of concessions are available for purchase on the midway and in the Roller Rink. Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome in the amusement park. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Food/beverages are not permitted on attractions or within Chipper's Woods miniature golf course.  Outside food/beverages are not permitted in the Roller Rink.

Lockers, Unattended Articles, and Lost & Found

Leaving personal articles unattended is prohibited, e.g., purses, bags, jackets, coolers, etc. Oaks Park is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Coin-operated lockers are located on the midway and in the Roller Rink.  Lockers within the Roller Rink are for use by rink patrons only. Check for lost items at Guest Services. Separate lost & found services for items left behind in the Roller Rink are located at the Skate Shop.

Oaks Park’s facilities are ADA compliant. All restrooms are handicap accessible. The Carousel and Train are wheelchair accessible. Mobility devices and wheelchairs may be used on the skating floor.  Individuals assisting those with special needs must be wearing skates to enter the skating floor. Complimentary caregiver Ride Bracelets and Roller Rink admission tickets are available for those assisting guests with special needs. A limited number of non-motorized wheelchairs are available to rent from Guest Services for $10; you must leave an ID at Guest Services in order to rent a wheelchair.

Service Animals and Pets

Friendly dogs are welcome.  No other animals are allowed except trained service animals. Care and clean-up are the responsibility of the handler. Dogs/service animals must be leashed and attended at all times.  Only service animals are permitted in the rink; no pets. Service animals may not be taken onto the skating floor except in a wheeled device (e.g., stroller or ADA service animal cart). Please be aware that much of the surface in the park is paved and on hot days the pavement can reach temperatures too high for animal safety. For everyone's safety, pets are not permitted on attractions including on the miniature golf course.

A limited number of strollers are available to rent from Guest Services; single strollers are $5, double strollers are $6.50.  You must leave an ID at Guest Services in order to rent a stroller.  Oaks Park does not currently offer stroller parking at attractions. All guests must maintain dress and behavior standards in accordance with the park's mission of providing a safe, wholesome, family atmosphere. No offensive language, gestures, or attire is permitted.

Line Jumping

Line jumping is not allowed. Line jumping is defined as cutting in front of other guests waiting in line, leaving a line then trying to re-enter the line at the same point, or saving a place for someone.

Hats may not be worn while skating except when secured with a hat clip (available for purchase at the Skate Shop). Loose items are not permitted on the skating floor, e.g., cell phones, cameras, stuffed animals, etc. Loose clothing draped around the body may not be taken on the skating floor. Apparel and/or accessories that, in the sole opinion of the Management, compromise skater safety are prohibited.  Apparel with feathers or any other loose elements that could fall off is not permitted in the Roller Rink. Pushing, shoving, racing, chasing, or playing tag is not permitted anywhere in the Roller Rink. All skaters must keep moving while on the skating floor; skaters may not stop and stand along the sidewalls or eat and drink over the walls. No one may pick up and/or carry anyone while wearing skates, including parents of small children. Sitting on, or jumping over, the sidewalls is not allowed. Sitting on laps or showing excessive affection is not allowed. Violation of any of these rules may result in eviction from the premises without refunds. Report all conflicts and safety concerns to the staff.
