Oaks Park Roller Rink

Roller skating is active, indoor fun perfect for the rainy northwest! Our beautiful Roller Rink is famous coast-to-coast as the premier skating establishment in the U.S. It is not only the oldest roller rink in the country but also has the largest skating floor west of the Mississippi! Come see why they call us "a skater's paradise!"
Open Skate Sessions
The Roller Rink is open for general public skating six days a week. Select public sessions feature live DJs and skate specials like Pace Skate and The Hokey Pokey.
Session Schedule:
- TUE: 3-5 PM
- WED/THU: 3-5 PM and 7-9:30 PM
- FRI/SAT: 1-5 PM and 7-10:30 PM
- SUN: 1-5 PM and 7-9:30 PM

Admission: $13 per skater
Skate Rental: Standard Skates $1 • Specialty Skates $3-$5
Admission tickets purchased online include standard skate rental at no additional fee. Non-skating chaperones/spectators are welcome at no charge.
The antique Wurlitzer pipe organ is played on Thursday nights and during both sessions on Sundays.

Connect with the local homeschool community at this special twice-monthly session especially for homeschooling families. First Mondays feature STEM activities!

Tuesday night is prime skating time for grown-ups at our popular, weekly 18+ skate night. The session features a live DJ playing roller rink favorites and R&B hits!

Proudly offering a sensory-sensitive skate time during the Preschool Skate Session every Wednesday morning. Kids 10 and younger and their families welcome!

1st/3rd weeks feature OGs, Hydes, & Slides with DJ Maxx Bass and Mr. Swollerskates. 2nd/4th weeks showcase DJ Eric. Suprise DJ on 5th weeks! You must have your own skates to attend.

Saturday morning is a special skating time for kids ten and younger featuring skate games, kid tunes, and a visit from Chipper the Squirrel! One free adult per paid child.

Gather your friends to close out the weekend doing what you like best at our weekly R&B session just for adults 18 and older. You must have your own skates to attend.

Valentine's Skate Date Package
Celebrate your love with a classically cute date idea this Valentine’s Day weekend! Our Skate Date Package sets the mood with two Open Skate session admissions, two standard skate rentals, two Rick’s Cafe; meal vouchers, and two drink tickets to enjoy together.
Hold hands during couples-only and soak up the festive Valentine’s vibe with a bit of retro romance and date-night magic. Whether it’s your first date or your favorite tradition, this skate date is a sweet, playful way to express how you feel.

Skate Rental
Standard skate are available in sizes from Toddler 7 to Men 17 and rental is $1. Standard skates are included at no additional charge with online tickets. Specialty skates are $3 (artistic/low-profile) or $5 (inline); sizes vary. Personal skates are welcome, subject to inspection.

Located 10 minutes from downtown Portland at the east end of the Sellwood Bridge
Daily parking fees of $4 per vehicle apply.
Music
The pipe organ is played during the Open Skate from 7-9:30 PM on Thursdays and 1-5 and 7-9:30 PM on Sundays. All other Open Skate sessions feature a mix of top-40s/retro hits. Specialty session music varies by session focus.
Roller Rink Cafe
Enjoy tasty treats in a cool, retro atmosphere. Outside food/beverages are not allowed in the Roller Rink.

Roller Rink Rental
Renting our famous roller skating rink is even cooler than you think! Available select dates and times only. $200 per hour for up to 12 skaters. School and non-profit discounts are available.

All package levels are available during the Open Skate Sessions on Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Adult Package is also available during the Adult Skate Session on Tuesday nights. Reservations must be made a minimum of 3 days in advance. The location of the reserved table is in an area with a physical occupancy limit; therefore, the maximum number of guests allowed is 12, no exceptions.
