Pam started her skating career at the tender age of two, having family members who were head pros. Skating was in her genes! She enjoyed a fun skating career until the age of twenty-one, when grad school and life, in general, got in the way. Forty-eight years later, bored with retirement and missing skating, Pam laced up her skates once again and rediscovered her love of the sport that keeps her young physically, mentally, and emotionally.
April Wellock is a proud “skate mom” who has spent countless hours supporting her children's passion for figure skating—both at the rink and behind the scenes. From early morning practices to late-night competitions, April has become a familiar and encouraging presence in the skating community. Her enthusiasm, organization, and love for the sport extend beyond the sidelines through her active involvement in the booster club. As a dedicated volunteer, April helps coordinate fundraising events, organize team activities, and ensure that every skater feels supported and celebrated. She believes deeply in the values that skating teaches—discipline, resilience, sportsmanship and joy—and works hard to help create an environment where young athletes can thrive. Whether she’s cheering from the stands, helping decorate for competitions, or managing the snack table, April brings warmth and energy to everything she does. Her commitment to the skating community is a reflection of her love for her family, her team, and the sport that brings them all together.

In addition to her own competitive success, Michelle gives back to the skating community by volunteering at various events and functions, helping to support the growth and success of roller skating for future generations.
