Ride Wristband Group Discount FAQs
and Group Visit Policies
Before booking your visit, please review the group discount policies.
Reservations & Payments
Group rates are only valid for 48" & Taller and Under 48" Wristbands. Under 48" Wristbands may not be issued to any guest who is 48" or taller. Any guest who measures 48" or taller but is wearing an Under 48" Wristband will be denied admission to the rides. You are responsible for verifying your guests' heights before placing your order.
Standard Groups
The group discount is 25% off retail wristbands with the advance purchase of 25 or more for a single visit date.
Non-profit Groups
Qualifying non-profit organizations receive 40% off with the advance purchase of 25 or more wristbandsfor a single visit date. To be eligible for the non-profit group rate, you must provide a verifiable 501(c)(3) tax-exempt ID number when making your request.
Reservations must be secured, and the fee must be paid at least 3 business days before your visit.
Reservation requests must be made through our online request form. Completing the request form does not guarantee your reservation. Our staff will contact you to finalize your reservation.
There are no day-of, walk-in, or onsite group discounts available.
The full fee is due at the time of booking.
You must submit a Credit Card Authorization Form, which will be kept on file until the date of your visit.
The credit card must have an expiration date that falls after the date of your scheduled visit.
If you will have more riders than initially estimated, you must email us your updated wristband count at least 3 business days before your visit. The fee for the additional wristbands will be charged to your card on file.
Additional wristbands cannot be added at the discounted rate on the day of your visit.
Group rate wristbands are non-refundable.
Oaks Park only accepts card payments at all locations, including ticketing windows, games, concessions, retail locations, parking meters, etc. You can pay for purchases using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, a debit or prepaid card, or a Chipper Card. Select locations also accept Apple Pay and Android Pay.
What if I only have cash?
- ReadyCard cash-to-card machines are available to convert cash to a prepaid card. Cards can be loaded with $1-$500. ReadyCards cannot be reloaded.
- If you do not use all of your preloaded funds during your visit, you can use the card offsite anywhere in the U.S. that Mastercard is accepted.
- ReadyCard machines are located near Guest Services, near the shooting gallery in the historic Blue Streak building, and in the Roller Rink lobby.
- You can check your card balance at the onsite kiosk, by calling the number on the back of the card, or by visiting rcbalance.com.
- Keep your ReadyCard receipt. If you have issues with your card, you can call the number printed on it, and if you have your receipt, a representative from the card company will be able to help you. Unfortunately, if you do not have your receipt, there’s nothing we can do.
Wristbands are non-refundable.
Wristbands are only valid for the date/time set when making your reservation. In cases of emergency, the reserved date may be rescheduled by emailing weborders@oakspark.com at least 72 hours before the original reservation date/time.
During standard operating hours, non-riders are welcome to enter the park at no charge.
Rider Requirements
Wristbands allow access to all of the rides for which the wearer meets the height and safety requirements.
Rider requirements and restrictions vary by ride; please visit our Ride Guide for details. We maintain all of the manufacturer's safety recommendations on all attractions. Additional criteria to those listed may affect guests' ability to ride.
Many rides require an adult to ride with small children. The adult rider must purchase a wristband or acorn points to accompany the children on the rides.
At the Park
Wristbands are valid from open to close. You do not have to arrive at opening; you may arrive anytime during operating hours until 1 hour before close. For opening and closing times, view our hours page.
Midway concessions are operational during all amusement park hours; view menu. Individual concession stand hours may vary.
The food cart pod is operated by separate, independent contractors who set their own menus and hours.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages into the amusement park. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited and will be confiscated and disposed of.
Tables on the midway are reserved for guests with purchases from our concessions. A limited number of first-come, first-served picnic tables are available at the park's west edge. To reserve one of our rentable picnic areas, visit our picnics page.
Discounted Group Dining Options
Exclusively for reserved amusement park groups, Oaks Park offers discounted meal vouchers, ice cream tickets, and adult beverage tickets; view our group dining options. Vouchers/tickets are nonrefundable, but may be redeemed at the concessions stands any operating day of the season in which they are purchased. A minimum purchase of 25 vouchers or tickets is required to take advantage of the discounted offerings. Vouchers/tickets must be added to your order and paid in full at least 3 business days before your visit.
There are no refunds or price reductions if a ride is closed for maintenance during all or part of any operating day.
Oaks Park is open rain or shine. There are no weather-related refunds, exchanges, or rain checks.
For the safety of our guests and staff, the park may close early when an extreme heat warning is in effect. If the park closes early, you may visit Guest Services at close to receive a bounce-back wristband to return and finish your visit another day.
Parking
A daily parking fee of $4 per vehicle applies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The fee is payable onsite via self-service parking meters or on your mobile device. Only credit, debit, and prepaid cards are accepted at the parking meters. Chipper cards are not accepted at the parking meters. There are no refunds.
Parking spaces are first-come, first-served, and the lot frequently fills to capacity; do not purchase parking until you are parked onsite. Carpooling is strongly recommended.
The lot is private property and is only available to Oaks Park visitors. Vehicles not parked in designated parking stalls and those that block the flow of traffic will be towed by A&B Towing at the owner’s expense.
Failure to pay the parking fee will result in penalties. Rates are subject to change without notice.
For frequent visitors, monthly/quarterly unlimited parking permits are available. Parking permits are only available online.
- Monthly Unlimited Permit: $13
- Quarterly Unlimited Permit: $33
Parking spaces are first-come, first-served, and the lot frequently fills to capacity; permit parking is subject to parking space availability at the time of arrival. Vehicles not parked in designated parking stalls and those blocking traffic flow will be towed by A&B Towing at the owner’s expense.
Complimentary bus parking is available when arranged in advance.
Complimentary bike racks are available near the Roller Rink.
Use a secure bike lock; Oaks Park is not responsible for loss or damage.

Standard skate rental is included at no additional charge. Specialty skates are available to rent at the Skate Shop (subject to availability) for a $3-5 fee.
Personal skates are welcome, subject to inspection.
Spectators are welcome at no charge. Spectators may not enter the skating floor.
Safety & Mandatory Waivers
Roller skating is a physical activity with an inherent risk of injury; you assume the risk of injury by participating.
All visitors participating in roller skating must complete a waiver. A parent or guardian must fill out waivers for minors. Any individual who does not have a waiver on file will not be able to skate.
It is your responsibility to ensure that each of your guests has completed a waiver before your visit; instruct parents/guardians of minor guests to visit oakspark.com/waiver to fill out the required form before the date of your event.
Headgear, headsets, Bluetooth headphones, and sunglasses may not be worn while roller skating. Hats may not be worn while skating except when secured with a hat clip. Loose items, such as cell phones, cameras, stuffed animals, etc., are prohibited on the skating floor. Loose clothing draped around the body may not be taken on the skating floor.
All guests must wear skates to be on the skating floor. For everyone's safety, the following behaviors are prohibited: jumping, fast or reckless skating, weaving, zigzagging, and practicing roller derby moves through traffic. Pushing, shoving, racing, chasing, or playing tag is prohibited in the Roller Rink. All skaters must keep moving while on the skating floor; skaters may not stop and stand along the sidewalls or eat and drink over the walls.
No one, including parents of small children, may pick up and/or carry anyone while wearing skates. Sitting on or jumping over the sidewalls is not allowed, and sitting on laps or showing excessive affection is not permitted.
Guests wearing hard casts will not be permitted to skate. Other injuries/conditions may also limit the ability to participate.
Violating these rules may result in eviction from the premises without refunds. Report all conflicts and safety concerns to the staff.
At the Rink
Outside food/beverages are prohibited.
The rink cafe is open during select Open Skate sessions; view menu. Cards and mobile pay are the only forms of payment accepted at the cafe counter.
Card-operated vending machines are available during all sessions.
Food and beverages must be kept within the cafe at all times.
Live Pipe Organ Sessions
- THU @ 7 PM
- SUN @ 1 PM and 7 PM
All other Open Skate sessions feature a mix of current top-40s and retro hits.
On SAT/SUN, we have scheduled times for sending out birthday wishes over the loudspeaker as follows: 2:30 PM, 4 PM, 8:30 PM, and 9:30 PM (SAT only). To add a name to our shout-out list, visit the Skate Shop. Individual birthday shout-outs are only made to call scheduled party package groups into the Cafe for their table time.
During weekday sessions, please visit the Skate Shop for birthday shout-out options.
The arcade is open during all Open Skate sessions. Cards are the only form of payment accepted at the games.
Coin-operated lockers are available.
Sometime in 2025, lockers will be updated to only accept tokens that can be purchased at the Box Office or Skate Shop; check back soon for updates.
Pre2K Night: On the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of the month, join DJ Maxx Bass during the evening Open Skate session for a throwback bash as he spins the raddest jams from the roller rink era of 1970-1999. Rock your retro gear and rewind to the good ol' days! Regular admission rates apply.
Glow Skate: Happening during the 7-10:30 PM Open Skate Session on the 2nd Friday of the month, October-April, our popular Glow Skate features our disco lights, black-out skate specials, and a free glow stick with paid admission. Regular admission rates apply.
More Theme Nights: Select Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during the evening Open Skate session, we make your skating experience that much more fun with interactive themes, guest DJs, and more. Visit our Specials Page for info about upcoming events.
The Roller Rink does not have A/C. The main skating floor is cooled by a swamp cooler. Rick's Cafe is air-conditioned.

You can cover your guests' parking fees by adding Group Parking to your order. You will choose a unique alphanumeric Group Parking Code that your guests must enter at any onsite parking meter on the day of your event (3 characters minimum, 10 characters maximum). Group Parking Codes cannot be used through the online portal.
You can limit the number of vehicles that may redeem your code. You will be responsible for distributing your code to your guests in advance of the event and ensuring that only your invited guests are given the code; Oaks Park is not liable if uninvited individuals use your code.
Within 14 business days after the event, your card on file will be charged at the daily rate for the total number of times your code is redeemed. Each vehicle will only be able to redeem the code once.
Parking fees are non-refundable; no exceptions. Group Parking must be added to your order at least 28 business days before your event.
Parking spaces are available on a strict first-come, first-served basis, and Group Parking Codes do not guarantee access to a parking spot. Lots often fill to capacity on weekends and event days in the summer.
