4th of July Spectacular Policies

Purchasing: The number of admission tickets is limited. Tickets are only available online in advance; tickets will not be available at the gate. Everyone 3 and older must have a ticket to enter the park. Kids 2 and under are free. If you wish to use a Chipper Card to book your tickets, by July 1, call 503-233-5777 or email weborders@oakspark.com M-F between 9 AM and 4 PM.

Refunds and Cancellations: Admission is non-refundable; no exceptions. Tickets are only valid for the special event and cannot be rescheduled to another date.

Included: Admission tickets include all-day access to the rides, free first-come, first-serve picnic grounds, and Portland's best fireworks display. Rider requirements and restrictions vary by ride; please visit our Ride Guide for details. For children 3-9 years old, admission also includes a souvenir American flag (while supplies last) and two (2) scrip, each valid for one (1) game, one (1) cotton candy, or one (1) ice cream treat.

Excluded: Miniature golf, games, concessions, and merchandise are sold separately. The Roller Rink is closed on July 4.

Non-riders: The admission fee applies to all park visitors over the age of 2 including individuals who will not be participating in attractions. This is a special event and our normal policies regarding non-riders, chaperones, and spectators do not apply.

Hours: Gates open at 11 AM. The rides operate from 12 PM-12 AM. Fireworks are at dusk (approximately 9:45 PM). You do not have to arrive at opening; you may arrive anytime during operating hours until 1 hour before closing.

Food/Beverages: Midway concessions open at 12 PM; view menu.  Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages into the amusement park; outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.  Tables on the midway are reserved for guests with purchases from our concessions. All picnic areas are free to use and are available on a strict first-come, first-served basis during the special event.

Parking: A parking fee of $5 per vehicle applies on July 4. The parking fee is payable onsite via self-service parking meters or on your mobile device at t2p.mobi/oaks1905. Only credit/debit cards are accepted at the parking meters; please visit Guest Services to pay with cash. Parking spaces are first-come, first-served and the lot frequently fills to capacity; do not purchase your parking until you have a parking space onsite. There are no refunds. Failure to pay the parking fee will result in penalties. Carpooling is strongly recommended. Complimentary bus parking is available when arranged in advance. The parking lot is private property and is only available to visitors of Oaks Park. Vehicles not parked in designated parking stalls and those that block the flow of traffic will be towed at the owner’s expense. The closest bus stop is approximately 1 mile away; visit the Tri-Met trip planner to plan your route. Bike racks are available near the Roller Rink. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Weather: Oaks Park is open rain or shine. When an extreme heat warning is in effect, the park may close early. There are no weather-related refunds, exchanges, or rain checks.

Ride Maintenance: There are no refunds or price reductions if a ride is closed for maintenance during all or part of the operating day.

Additional Policies: Please view our guest guidelines for more info.
