Gates open at 11 AM.
The rides operate from 12 PM-12 AM. Fireworks are at dusk (approximately 10 PM).
Please arrive at the park no later than 9:30 PM.
Admission tickets include all-day access to the rides, free first-come, first-serve picnic grounds, and Portland's best fireworks display. Rider requirements and restrictions vary by ride; please visit our Ride Guide for details.
Roller skating, miniature golf, games, concessions, and merchandise are sold separately. You must have an event ticket to enter the park, even if you are only visiting the Roller Rink or the Miniature Golf Course.
The number of admission tickets is limited. Tickets are only available online in advance; tickets will not be available at the gate.
Everyone 3 and older must have a ticket to enter the park. Kids 2 and under are free.

Passes (Groupon, LocalFlavor, Get Out Pass, Season Passes, etc.), and leftover group wristbands are not valid on July 4.
Admission is non-refundable; no exceptions. Tickets are only valid for the special event and cannot be rescheduled to another date.
The admission fee applies to all park visitors over the age of 2 including individuals who will not be participating in attractions. This is a special event and our normal policies regarding non-riders, chaperones, and spectators do not apply.
If you need to exit the park at some point during the event, you will be able to re-enter by showing your event wristband to the attendant at the main gate when you return. You must keep your wristband on your wrist; broken or damaged wristband will not be accepted for re-entry.
Remember, all parking is first-come, first-served, so if you leave, your parking spot is not held for you and parking may be full by the time you return.
Oaks Park is open rain or shine. When an extreme heat warning is in effect, the park may close early. There are no weather-related refunds, exchanges, or rain checks.
There are no refunds or price reductions if a ride is closed for maintenance during all or part of the operating day.
Midway concessions open at 12 PM; view menu. Tables on the midway are reserved for guests with purchases from our concessions.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages into the amusement park. Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited; bags and coolers are subject to search and any outside alcohol will be confiscated and disposed of.
All picnic areas are free to use and are available on a strict first-come, first-served basis. Small personal grills are permitted in the picnic areas. Grills must be placed on the ground in the open air and cannot be put on the tables or under any tent or structure. Grills may not be left unattended.
Large grills and smokers are not allowed unless arranged in advance with written permission from the Events Department.
There is no vehicle access at the picnic areas. Grills, coolers, etc., must be walked in from the parking lot.
Charcoal must be disposed of in the provided coal dumps (inquire at Guest Services for locations); do not dump on the grass, pavement, etc. Grills may not be left unattended.
Sinks are for liquids only; do not dump food scraps, grease, ash, dirt, etc., down the sinks.
The following items are prohibited in the picnic areas: fireworks/pyrotechnics, weapons, drugs (including marijuana), outside alcohol, water balloons, water slides, dunk tanks, sprinklers, misters, chalk, hay/haybales, piñatas, bubble machines, glitter/confetti, raw rice, hammocks, fog machines, lawn stakes, inflatables. All prohibited items are subject to confiscation.
All activities in the picnic areas must be respectful and considerate of neighboring picnickers.
A parking fee of $4 per vehicle applies on July 4. The parking fee is payable onsite via self-service parking meters or on your mobile device at t2p.mobi/oaks1905. Only credit/debit cards are accepted at the parking meters; please visit Guest Services to pay with cash. Parking spaces are first-come, first-served and the lot frequently fills to capacity; do not purchase your parking online until you have a parking space onsite. There are no refunds. Failure to pay the parking fee will result in penalties. Carpooling is strongly recommended. For frequent visitors, parking permits are available. Monthly permits are $13 and quarterly permits are $33. Permits allow for unlimited parking, subject to parking space availability at the time of arrival, and are only available online at tocite.net/oakspark/Portal. Complimentary bus parking is available when arranged in advance. The parking lot is private property and is only available to visitors of Oaks Park. Vehicles not parked in designated parking stalls and those that block the flow of traffic will be towed at the owner’s expense. The closest bus stop is approximately 1 mile away; visit the Tri-Met trip planner to plan your route. Bike racks are available. Rates are subject to change without notice.
