School Party Program Policies


The School Party Program features special, limited-capacity amusement park operations reserved for school groups to celebrate the end of the school year. You will be visiting the park alongside other school groups.



Dates/Times: 2022 program dates are May 31, June 1, June 2, June 7, June 8 (sold-out), June 9 (sold-out), and June 10 (sold-out). The rides operate from 10 AM-2 PM on each date. Check-in is from 9-10 AM on your reserved date. One representative from your organization is to come to Guest Services to check in and collect your Ride Bracelets. You will be responsible to distribute bracelets to your group.

Ride Bracelets: School Party Ride Bracelets are offered at a deeply discounted rate of $15 per person and include all of the rides that the individual meets the height and safety requirements for. Rider requirements and restrictions vary by ride; please visit our Ride Guide for details. You must purchase a bracelet for each rider including chaperones, supervising companions, adults riding with children, etc.; bracelets are non-transferable and are only valid for the original wearer. Transferred bracelets will be voided without refunds. Non-riders are welcome to enter the park at no charge. Roller skating, midway games, miniature golf, retail items, concessions, etc., are sold separately. You may add additional bracelets (subject to availability) up until 7 business days before your reserved date.

Reservations: Reservations are required and are taken on a strict first-come, first-served basis. In addition to completing the request form, you will be required to provide the following to secure your reservation:

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the estimated total.
  • A credit card authorization form, which will be kept on file in our secure Accounting Office through your reserved date. You may opt to pay your fee using another form of payment, but completion of the credit card authorization form is required even if you choose to pay another way. The expiration date of the card provided must fall after the reserved date. In the event that payments are not received by their due date, the card on file will be charged the balance.
  • A signed Event Reservation form agreeing to the details of your reservation.

Payment: Payment in full is due a minimum of 7 business days before the event date.

Refunds and Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 7 business days before the reservation date will result in forfeiture of the 50% deposit; funds beyond the deposit are eligible for a refund. There are no refunds within 7 business days of the reservation date.

Food/Beverages: Midway concessions will be operational during School Party Program hours. Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages into the amusement park; outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. Tables on the midway are reserved for guests with purchases from our concessions. A limited number of first-come, first-served picnic tables are available at the south end of the park. Reserved picnic areas are available for an additional fee.

Weather: Oaks Park is open rain or shine. There are no refunds, exchanges, or rain-checks due to rain.

Ride Maintenance: There are no refunds or price reductions if a ride is closed for maintenance during all or part of the operating day.

Disclaimer: In the case that registration numbers for the selected date fall below the operational threshold, the reservation may be reassigned to an alternate date. If an alternate date cannot be agreed upon, a full refund of the purchase will be available. Rides with a maximum height limit of 48" or less may not be available during School Party dates.
