Specialty Skate Session Policies
Adult Skate
Dates: Adult Skate takes place every Tuesday from 7-9:30 PM, 12 months a year (excluding select holidays).
Purchasing: This session is for guests 18 and older only; underage guests will not be permitted to enter. The number of admission tickets offered per week is limited; to guarantee admission you must purchase admission online in advance. Tickets are available for online purchase starting 40 days in advance. Walk-in purchasing is subject to availability. Admission tickets are required for everyone who is skating; spectators are welcome at no charge. If you wish to use a Chipper Card to book your tickets, call 503-233-5777 or email weborders@oakspark.com M-F between 9 AM and 4 PM a minimum of 72 hours before the monthly event date.
Refunds and Cancellations: Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are only valid for the date/time listed on your ticket. In cases of emergency, tickets may be rescheduled by emailing weborders@oakspark.com a minimum of 72 hours before the date/time listed on your ticket.
Skates: Standard skate rental is included at no additional charge. Specialty skates are available to rent at the Skate Shop during your session (subject to availability) for an additional fee of $3-$4. Personal skates are welcome, subject to inspection.
Music: Adult Skate features a live DJ playing retro and current hits. The 1st/3rd/5th weeks our guest DJ is DJ Glyde. 2nd/4th Tuesdays feature DJ Groove. Requests welcome!
Food/Beverages: Outside food/beverages are prohibited. The rink cafe will be operational during Adult Skate; view menu.
Safe Skating Practices: Headgear, headsets, Bluetooth headphones, and sunglasses may not be worn while roller skating. Hats may not be worn while skating except when secured with a hat clip. Loose items are not permitted on the skating floor, e.g., cell phones, cameras, stuffed animals, etc. Loose clothing draped around the body may not be taken on the skating floor. All guests must wear skates to be on the skating floor. For everyone's safety, the following behaviors are prohibited: jumping, fast or reckless skating, weaving, zigzagging, and practicing roller derby moves through traffic. Pushing, shoving, racing, chasing, or playing tag is not permitted anywhere in the Roller Rink. All skaters must keep moving while on the skating floor; skaters may not stop and stand along the sidewalls or eat and drink over the walls. No one may pick up and/or carry anyone while wearing skates, including parents of small children. Sitting on, or jumping over, the sidewalls is not allowed. Sitting on laps or showing excessive affection is not allowed. Report all conflicts and safety concerns to the staff.
Parking: Parking fees now apply 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Parking fees are per day and are only payable onsite via self-service parking meters or on your mobile device at t2p.mobi/oaks1905. Only credit/debit cards are accepted for payment of parking fees. Parking spaces are first-come, first-served and the lot frequently fills to capacity; do not purchase your parking online until you have a parking space onsite. There are no refunds. Failure to pay the parking fee will result in penalties. Carpooling is strongly recommended.

Quarterly Unlimited Permit: $33
Peak Rates are in effect before 4:45 PM on all Saturdays, Sundays, and select holidays from March 25, 2023, through September 24, 2023. Monthly/quarterly permits allow for unlimited parking, subject to parking space availability at the time of arrival, and are only available online at tocite.net/oakspark/Portal. Complimentary bus parking is available when arranged in advance. The parking lot is private property and is only available to visitors of Oaks Park. Vehicles not parked in designated parking stalls and those that block the flow of traffic will be towed at the owner’s expense. The closest bus stop is approximately 1 mile away; visit the Tri-Met trip planner to plan your route. Bike racks are available near the Ferris Wheel. Rates are subject to change without notice.
Warm Weather Advisory: The Roller Rink does not have A/C. The main skating floor is cooled by a swamp cooler. Rick's Cafe is air-conditioned.
Skate at Your Own Risk: Roller skating is a physical activity with an inherent risk of injury; by participating you assume the risk of injury.

Kids’ Morning Skate
Dates: Kids' Morning Skate takes place Saturdays from 10-11:30 AM, 12 months a year (excluding holidays).
Age Limit: Kids' Morning is for children 10 and younger only. Older children may only attend with a sibling who is 10 or younger; you must purchase admission for the older sibling to skate.
Adults: One adult may skate free per paid child. If you will have more adults attending than paid children, you must purchase admission for the additional adults.

Dates: Chipper's Preschool Skate takes place Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10-11:30 AM, October through May (excluding holidays).
Age Limit: Chipper's Preschool Skate is for children 6 and younger only. Older children may only attend with a sibling who is 6 or younger; you must purchase admission for the older sibling to skate.

Food/Beverages: Admission to Preschool Skate includes a snack of cookies and milk, served in Rick's Cafe. Outside food/beverages are prohibited with the exception of snacks for children with special dietary needs. The rink cafe will be closed during Preschool Skate; vending machines are available.
Shoes and Strollers: Chipper's Preschool Skate is the only time during which guests may enter the skating floor in shoes. It is also the only time that strollers may be taken onto the skating floor.
Safe Skating Practices: During Preschool Skate, guests are welcome to wear shoes on the skating floor. Strollers are also welcome on the skating floor during Preschool Skate. Dates: Gay Skate takes place the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month from 7-9:30 PM, 12 months a year (excluding select holidays).
