Open Skate
$13 per person
Open since 1906, Oaks Park Roller Rink is the oldest rink in the country! Select Open Skate Sessions feature a live DJ and skate games. On Thursday night and at both sessions on Sunday, the 1926 Wurlitzer Pipe Organ plays.
All skaters must complete a waiver. Waivers for minors must be completed by a parent or guardian. Non-skating spectators are welcome at no charge.

Standard skate rental fees are waived when admission tickets are purchased online.
Standard skates are available from size Toddler 7 to Men 17.
Personal skates are welcome, subject to inspection.

Available Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays only. Reservations are required a minimum of 72 hours in advance. Reservations open 90 days in advance. Standard skate rental is included.

Whether you’re stepping onto the floor for the first time, looking to improve your technique, or ready to explore different skating styles, our classes offer a supportive and encouraging environment for skaters of every age and ability.
Chipper's Preschool Skate
Tuesdays & Wednesdays, 10-11:30 AM
$13 per child
6 & younger only
Group lesson for kids and parents, games, snack time, and a visit from Chipper the Squirrel! One adult skates free per child.
Shoes and strollers are welcome on the skating floor.
Session runs September-May.
Adult Skate
Tuesdays, 7-9:30 PM

18 & older only
Once a week the grownups take over the rink! Features a live DJ playing a great selection of your favorite hits.
ID check is required for admission. Non-skating spectators are welcome at no charge.
Thursday 18&UP Skate

Kids' Morning
Saturdays, 10-11:30 AM

Kid-centered session featuring a special playlist of kid-friendly hits, skate games, a visit from Chipper the Squirrel. October-May, the session also features a short group lesson taught by a certified coach.
One adult skates free per child.
Smooth Groove Sundays
Sundays, 9:30-11:30 PM
$13 per person
18 & older only
DJ Glyde spins the best of soul, R&B, and funk every Sunday night during our new weekly adult skate session.
You must have your own skates to attend; rental skates are not available. This session is recommended for experienced skaters only.
Homeschool Skate
1st/3rd Mondays, 10 AM-12:30 PM
$13 per person
K-12 students & families
Connect with other homeschoolers and have active, indoor fun with the local homeschooling community at this specialty session just for at-home learners and their families.
First Mondays feature fun and engaging off-skates STEM activities for the first hour that teach important principles in a real-world setting.
Session runs the third Monday in September through the first Monday of June.
Gay Skate
1st/3rd Mondays, 7-9:30 PM

For over 30 years we have proudly presented a special LGBTQ+ skate night. Connect with the community in an atmosphere of friendship and inclusivity. Everyone welcome!
Select dates feature Bolivia Carmichaels as a special guest DJ.
Private Rink Rental
$200 per hour
for up to 12 skaters
Additional skaters are $16 per person, per hour.
Rental includes standard skate rental and a choice of playlist, or bring your own playlist for the ultimate personalized experience!
Non-profit rate rentals and large group rentals of 51+ skaters must book through the administration office; request now.
KMHD Listener Night

The rink is set to transform into the smoothest spot in town, as KMHD takes over the floor for a night of “Jazz Without Boundaries.”
KMHD’s own station DJs will be spinning their favorite jazz tracks. Whether you're a longtime listener, a jazz explorer, or a skater looking for a new sensation, this special skate event delivers the perfect mix of rhythm and community.

Our 4-day National skate party is back this fall! With after-hours sessions, workshops, and more, it is going to be the best weekend of skating all year long!

The Roller Rink redemption arcade is open during all public skating sessions.
A player card loaded with game credit is required to play arcade games. Self-service player card kiosks are available in the arcade.
Our midway games are currently closed for the winter and will reopen on March 21, 2026. 2026 offerings and prices coming soon.

Punch Pass
$110 for 10 Session Admissions
A perfect option for roller skating enthusiasts who visit the rink regularly! Our 10-session punch pass is a $20 savings from regular admission rates. There are no blackout dates and passes never expire.
Valid for Open Skate or Specialty sessions. Not valid for classes, private rentals, birthday packages, or special event admission.
Punch passes are only available at the Roller Rink Box Office or Skate Shop.
2Raw PDX

2Raw PDX Skate Club presents an exclusive after-hours skating experience! When the lights go down, the party starts rolling—featuring nonstop fun, a crowd full of friends, and the hottest sets from your favorite DJs keeping the beats alive all night long. This party is strictly for the grown-up skate crew. Admission requires age verification at the door, so don’t forget your ID.
Hours
The rides, mini golf, and midway games are open seasonally in the spring, summer, and fall. Roller skating is open year-round.
